Winter Wonder ATC

Well, here's the first of three.  They aren't quite as detailed as I had first dreamed up or that I wanted to do.  My life has been so full of "quicky emergencies" lately, I pushed it right to the last minte.  I'm afraid it shows!  So it was just "do 'em quick" and out the door!  So they aren't as detailed as I feel they should have been.  But then again, I had to make 30 of them!

This is my Winter Wonder ATC, simply a picture of Snowdrop flowers with a poem.  In the dead of winter, just when you think all is dead, out pops a snowdrop flower and a signal that spring is near.  Snow drops signify Hope, therefore a true Winter Wonder!

PWA Campout ATC

Just about gave up on me, didn't you!?!?  Time just slips away sometimes, it's hard to do the things you "really" want to do when family and household have other plans!  So, I'm back and I should be able to start loading things again as I prepare for a Stamp camp next Friday and a Shoe Box Party the following day for 14 friends!

One of the things I did this summer is go on a Campout with 13 stamping buddies.  I organized a weekend at a KOA so those who are not "avid" campers could still come because there are cabins too.  It's fun to see them in a different setting other than the usual retreat or Shoebox party** 

**A shoe box party, a common term used for a group of stampers that gather and pack a project in a "shoebox" and made everyone else's  projects they brought in "shoeboxes."  I've been to a lot of Shoebox parties, either with stamping groups or with Stampin Up, etc.  But I have to say that the one's sponsored by Pennywise Arts hold are the bomb!  Not only are there great projects but also great food!

Anyway, we exchanged ATC cards with anyone who wished to exchange, there were 11 of of the 13 that did the exchanging.  Here is the ATC I made.  It's about the farmland because that's the area we went to this year, Burlington, Washington.  Go to the Photo Album  for more detail about how it was made.

Under the Sea ATC

Here's a new ATC, Under the Sea.      It was hard to get a good picture of it, the camera flash takes away the pearlized look of the background.  And the clam is holding a little secret too! See the photo album for a closer look and how I did it.

I didn't stop to think that the people who SWAP with me on my ATCs just might look at the pictures!  I'd better hold off on posting the picture until I turn in the SWAP.  I want to keep the surprise for them too! I'm sorry about that, didn't think enough ahead!  But come back and look for it, I think you'll like it too!

Flower Garden ATC Made

Shame on me, how did an entire week slip by!  Where did all the time go to!  Well, this weekend I decided I just had to get busy with my long list of crafting!  So I spent most of the weekend at my craft table and not at the computer!  (It also helped that they tore up my front yard replacing a waterline and that I couldn't go out running around either!)

I have a new ATC card designed and ready to send for a SWAP I'm in!  Flower Garden was the theme and for some reason, that seemed to be hard for me!  I thought and thought then all of a sudden one thing began to flow to another thing and Voila!  My ATC was complete!  ;)  See my ATC Photo Album for latest addition!

I've found ATC's!

I discovered ATC (Artist Trading cards) about a year ago with my favorite online group and company, Pennywise Arts.   I mostly just enter the SWAP with them because their quality is so high and it sure does stretch my experience to do it with them! I have yet to find the same high quality with any other group and I put alot of detail effort into my designs, it's nice to know I get the same thing back!  ;)

I hope to start creating more on my own (without SWAPS involvement) in the coming future.   I think they will make great little give aways as thank yous, etc. But to create these wonderful little pieces of artwork is so satisfying to me!  Sometimes it's a challenge to find things in mini scale but so far, I've done okay.  I've always loved minature things and these are like mini cards sized at 2.5" x 3.5"  I've added a photo album to include my ATC designs.
