"My Favorite Technique" Circle SWAP

For the Month of April, our group did "my Favorite Technique."  It was so hard to choose just one for I like to experiment with many!  But I when with a Bleaching Resist technique.  See the picture and explaination under the Circle SWAP Photo Album.

Thbis was for April, now for May I"ll be creating one for "My Favorite Recipe."  Stay tuned!  ;)

"My favorite Garden" for Circle Journal

Boy, does time ever flow fast these days!  When I started to see others in this SWAP start to post that theirs are in the mail, I thought "oops!"  So I got busy last night to make mine.  I felt pretty good about it, I had no idea what to do but then all of a sudden, the page began to come to life and flow on it's own!  Feels good when it does that, I like it when the art comes to life like that!  There's isn't much in the way of stamping but it has pictures of flowers in my past gardens.  Perfect for the first day of Spring today!

Circle Journal SWAP

I joined something called a "Circle SWAP" with some Stamping Buddies.  There are 14 people in this 6x6 size Scrapbook SWAP and the first page we did was an introductory page about ourselves.  Because I'm also a Stampin Up (SU) Demo, that's most of the materials I have on hand!  I used Taken With Teal, Night of Navy, and Whisper White SU Cardstock with metal tags and Silver Cord.  Also Mirco Beads!  I found it hard to fit all the description about me on such a small page (even after editing, God has just blessed me with too many interests and hobbies!) so I made a matchbook on the scrap page.  It opens up to the list of things about me. I've created a photo gallery to show all the pages I create for this SWAP in the coming months.

This was very fun to do and I love the other pages that have been blessing my mailbox too.  Lots of great ideas to CASE later!  ;)
