Egyptian ATC

Egyptian ATC

This was a hard one for me. I belong to an elite artist group and every quarter they choose a topic for ATC's. This time it was Egyptian. Because of my belief in God, I did not want to pay amage to the other gods of Egypt.

So I opted for a natural scene of the desert. I used the Sponge Daubers for the background in So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie reinkers from Stampin Up down to the bottom. Stamped the Pyramids in Close to Cocoa and then daubed over that to make it look faded as in the sunset in the desert. Then used Chocolate Chip to darken the foreground. I also used a brown marker to hand sketch more distinction.

The Camel was embossed in Black on Creamy Carmel CS and cut out. The bridle and reigns were added by using the 1/8 inch O'So Sticky tape and black, gold and brown microbeads. Demintionals were used to heighten the camel from the card.

Layered that all with the Black ATC (2 1/2 x 3 1/2) and there you go, my Egyptian ATC!
